Fancy Small Working Bowie

Guys this is one I made for myself,to use.
I am getting much more comfortable with the "Hammon process".
Had a friend test hardness with Rothwell tester it came out at 58,wish it was a little harder ,but it will do. LOL

W-2 steel
7" blade and 12" Overall
Mild steel fittings and silicon bronze spacer
Desert Ironwood handle
Sharpened top clip    :scared:  
This thing is wicked

Very pretty. Never worked with W-2.......but 58hrc seems like a good place to be for an all purpose blade.

I know the blade is the highlight but, that handle wood is sweet.

Very nice Kevin. I like the lines on this knife. What was the draw back temp? As you know I have been testing a bunch with W2. So I like to find out what is working for other guys. The heat treat is more complex with W2 but the end result when it all comes together is very nice.

I haven't had any tested yet. I suppose thats the next step I should take. Thanks for sharing the knife and the info. I will get one tested and share what I am getting.
