Here is a small bushcraft/utility knife I just finished. It has a kind of "ball" handle that fits oh so nicely in the palm of your hand, its very comfortable. The bevels have a scotch brite "machine finish" and the flats have a nice hammered texture forged in.
The wood is hububalli sanded to 600 grit and sealed with teak oil.

Would you share how you get the wood grain effect with your leather dye? Great work.

I use the "Eco Flo" dye from tandy leather, and apply it with wool daubers. It is a gel so goes on kind of streaky, I just don't smooth it all the way out and it dyes some areas darker.

Great work all around.  Really like the dimple look on the sheath!
