Well I have never done a hollow grind before. But I had to try and some who have PMed me know why.never has anyone to teach me how do  to do anything hands on when it came to making a knife. The web helps but having someone h who can teach you  is a blessing. This knife was ground on a 10" wheel. It is a shallow hallow grind ( which I like) more durable( I am told). VERY modest file work. All inall i am happy with it but still like a flat grind or a convex grind better but thats me. tell me what ya think and if ya don't like it just say the word. <><

Frank, that looks very good!  I guess I am the opposite, I have only done a flat grind a couple of times and I prefer the hollow grind.  Dan

I hear ya Dan, some like it them and some don't.I will do a few more i am sure. I just had to try and do one. Now if I could grind a hollow grind like you I may do more.<><  :notworthy:    :notworthy:

I don't know Frank,I have a couple of your flat ground blades and those puppies are sharp and stay that way for quite awhile. If the shallow grind is supposed to be more durable than I think your on to sumthin. Keep it up. It's a beauty of a knife.
I reckon so

Yeah but it takes all the SWEET old sawmill rust spots out! LOL

The grind looks fantastic Frank but you know me, the more old rugged rust spots the better!

Can't really see the blade all that well Frank cause of the glare, but I like the shape alot and that mosaic pin on the bottom of the handle is cool!
