I'm using 2 part epoxy and when I'm sandig the wood comes loose from handle. What kind of glue is everybody using. Also having problems with safety pins when I'm sanding brass pins heat up and burn the wood.

I do all my handles by hand no belt sanders, just rasps and sandpaper, all by hand.  good luck, dave.

Get some new glue. Yours may be old. I use Devcon 2 hour / 2 ton. Wait the two hours. The pin thing is just as the guys have said, your staying on the grinder too long. Hit it lightly or file it. Lin

I have found that Loc Tite brand epoxies are not good at all.  they have other good products but not their epoxies.
I like Devcon brand, as Lin suggested.
For the pins getting too hot, also be aware that using worn out belts will heat them up more.
