Little stainless knife sort of copied from J. Neilson's B.U.K design but done by stock removal with bone scales.  6" overall and 1/8" thick CPM 154 steel.  With apologies to Mr. Neilson for stealing his excellent design (for my own personal use, not to sell.)    :)

Great job! Did you do the Kydex too?

that's something I want to learn, Skull. How to do a kydex sheath.

Thanks guys.  Yep I did the sheath too.  Kydex is pretty easy to work with and there's a really nice video on youtube showing how:   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3lczZWgN4Kg

I just use two boards with camping mat foam for a press and sit on it for the weight.  I already had the screws and eyelet stuff from Tandy leather for doing leather sheaths.

Wampus,

How did you get the grooves in the bone?

The easy way, I ordered them that way from Sheffield Supply.  I've had the scales around my shop for several years so I don't remember what I paid for them.

Where do you find a LARGE piece of kydex?

Wampus

Knifekits.com sells Kydex sheets in 12"X24" size.  They have them listed as by the square foot but when you order two, it's sent as a 12x24 sheet.   http://www.knifekits.com/vcom/index.php?cPath=41_54_136

If you need bigger than that, you might have to contact the company:
