Hey Guys,

I looked through a pair of Cabelas Euro binos at the KC Cabelas at the end of December and haven't been able to get the idea of buying a pair out of my head since then. Anyone out there own a pair. If so give me your opinions on them.

Thanks,
Scott

IMO -- For the same money, buy Swaros...you'll know exactly what you are getting and will not be disappointed.  Now, if you can find out who is building these for Cabelas, there may actually be a savings there, but there is usually a trade off when money and quality get thrown around in discussion.

I've never looked through the Euros, but am going to be buried with my Swaros.

Also, I see you are from Missouri...an 8x32 or smaller would be more conducive to the terrain and hunting you will be doing, I would think...

My nickels worth...mileage will vary.

The Euro's are a heck of a set of optics for the money. I've used both the Euro's and the Swaros and for half the price feel they are pretty much equal in clarity and light gathering.
The Swaros may be a little stronger in the durability department but not much.
Although I'm not allowed to say who makes them for us, it's really not a huge secret. Look at a photo of them in most recent catalogs. It says the maker right on the black pivot cover in front.
The company has been producing fine european optics since WWII.
No matter what type of bow is shot, we're all archers.
