Chris is having surgery on his elbow that has been bothering him for quite a while. He will probably miss the whole deer season so lets wish him a quick recovery and a complete recovery.

Best wishes Chris    Marla and I are praying for ya bud.

Prayers for a quick and complete recovery.
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside thoroughly used up, totally worn out, with bible in hand and loudly proclaim...WOW...What a Ride!!!

But his bow will remain steady, and his hands will be skillful; because of the hands of the Mighty One of Jacob, because of the Shepherd, the Rock of Israel,  (Genesis 49:24 [NETfree])

I appreciate the support folks, really.    :)   I am out of the sling and trying to get my range of motion back. Lotsa painful    :banghead:   stretching pretty much all day , kinda off and on.
Did get a chance today to help the 15 year old son of a friend make up some arrows for deer season.
I think I may mend well after all. Thanks again.

That range of motion stuff is a killer. I remember 5 years ago or so after rotator repair. Ouch!

the PT would apologize for the pain while she ran it through "range of motion". I told her to wear leather skirts, bring a whip..whatever, just git er done and let me deal with the pain.

the end DOES justify the means, amigo! Stay in the limits of your doc's orders, but what you put in now comes back in dividends!
