Just got this left handed bow from my father in law for my young son.  Trying to figure out what brand it may be.  I'm guessing its a old "box" store brand as they weren't finacially "sound" back when it was purchased.
Planning on putting a string on it and see what it looks- and shoots like.
No markings anywhere- just the small label above the shelf and it reads
Saunders Archery Company
Not sure if this is just referring to the rest pad and shelf protector...
I'm sure someone can recognize this and help me out- lets see who is first!

Saunders Archery was not a "Box store" bow.

While Saunders did not put out the volume that Bear, Pearson, and Wing did, they sure put out the quality.

Not to be confused with Sanders Archery,  Saunders is a big producer of archery accessories such as field tips, gloves, and just about anything you can think of.

Back in the day they were best known for the grass target matts, which they still make.

You don;t see too many Saunders bows around, but when you do, you see a pretty good bow.

The most important part of your hunting setup is the broadhead.  The rest is just the delivery system.

Thanks for replies guys.  So are we thinking American Archery?  If so, any other information?
I'll try to google it.  If you have any other thoughts, please share!

Yep, definitely looks like an American Archery bow but with no markings at all to go from can't say for sure.
