1969 Bear Kodiak Hunter question

Just curious if all 69 Kodiak Hunters had the black overlays on the front of the riser ilo white.  My brother has a 68 that has white and I came across a 69 that looks almosr identical but it has black.  Does anyone know the variations of this bow from 1967 to 1977?  I've heard of the rare zebrawood 69 version but have never seen one in real life.

The 69 Kodiak Hunter I have has the black tips and black overlays on the handle.
