Help dating old Bear long bow

Just picked up this old Bear longbow.It is made of lemonwood with a fiber?? backing on the back only.It is writen in black ink..Bear Archery Co.The grip is leather.I took some pictures.Any help would be appreciated.

I have one just like it but mine says BEAR ARCHERY with no CO. Late 40's circa I believe. Mine is marked on the front BJ 26"
