Daniel,  Not bad at all.

2 suggestions.

1. try to get more bow grip pressure on the base of your thumb. (lower on the thumb).  The way you are holding your wrist is making the bow react with a forward roll and down movement.  If you get the pressure lower on your hand, the bow should jump straight towards the target and not roll forward.

2.  You are drawing nicely with your back.  But at anchor, you are stopping that (or loosing it) and starting a very small collapse that is causing your string hand to jump out from your face at release.  Keep the back tension -- don't let it go -- and your string hand should slide back right on your cheek.

Over all a nice shot!!!

Arne,
Sorry, but please explain the 2nd one again..

Daniel,

Watch very closely in the 3rd video above.  See the arrow point appear in the frame then slide forward a little just before you release?

In the fourth video, again watch VERY closely and you will see your string elbow move to the right VERY slightly just before you release.

Both are indications of the loss of back tension and are the cause of your string hand flipping out from your face rather than moving straight back along your cheek.

That help?

Arne,
That was a perfect explanation! Thanks. I will work on that. I know that I do try to "relax" right before I shoot. So that is likely what causes it. Another thing is I have my head slightly tilted to the right at time of drawing and It is in my draw cycle which causes my head to have to move right before I anchor.

Does anyone else do this? Could you post a video of you drawing from straight on? Or even from 11 o'clock(front left)
