I think I know the answer but I'll ask any way. I think its my release but some of the time my arrows hit left of my target am I plucking or is it my arrows I am a right handed shooter. Can someone tell what it means when your arrows hit the target and not were u look at. left, right ,low, high but certered of the target

Well, your a right handed shooter, so I would think that your dropping your bow arm or shoulder. When you shoot, try and hold the position even after you release, this might help you with follow through.

  • Hoyt Pro Medalist, 70" 42# @ 28" (1963)
  • Bear Tamerlane 66" 30# @ 28" (1966)- for my better half
  • Bear Kodiak 60" 47# @ 28"(1965)

Plucking for me usually shows up as arrows going to the right. You are POSSIBLY losing back tension at the instant of release. Try shooting several arrows with maintaining back tension being the focus rather than hitting the target. See what happens.

Old doesn't start until you hit three figures...and then it's negotiable
