Why cant I get my hand to my face #@!$!!

I am certain that it is a mental thing.  I can draw on a leaf, tree, shadow,... in the woods and it feel right.  Anchor is good and no probs coming to full anchor.  Stick a target in front of me and the anchor (thumb knuckle under the jaw) goes awry.  I can still shoot well though.
