Has anyone heard of or attended a shooting clinic that uses the Howard Hill style of shooting?  Bob Wesley does I know but his wife just passed on and I am not sure he will have classes this year (and I don't want to trouble him with the question).

Thanks,
Michael

Michael,  I'm heading down to see Bob next week.  Had a class scheduled in early March when his wife relapsed.  He contacted me a couple weeks ago and we rescheduled to next week.  I would go ahead and contact him and see what he's got free.  I know he's now teaching a Monday kids class too.

Thank you so much, I will do that!!!

Edit: I just emailed him!

Arne Moe? aren't you on the Howard Hill Longbowmen's list as well?

Dick Wightman helped me make my longbow.

The Bob Wesley and John Schluz methods have some differences.  Left handed I shoot almost exactly like Bob Wesley illustrated in his book. Right handed I shoot like Schulz. Now that I have no trace of a flinch I can shoot the Wesley method both sides, but I shoot tighter groups on the right side using the Schulz more fluid form and tempo, and tighter groups on the left side using the Wesley somewhat straighter form and tempo. I am curious if Bob's method has changed much since my contacts with him over twenty years ago.
I hope Bob is making the best of it, but I am sure it is hard after losing her.
I still have that lucky piece of wood he sent me from Howard Hills target.
