I just found out about these...and how they are supposed to cure target panic

and I suffer from every now any then

do clickers actually work?

Cecil

I have one on my bow. I have target panic to. but I do think that it helps me because I have shot some scores with it that I never shot before with better control. but I am still working on it. if you do use one give it a while to work.

deadpool

do you think you can anchor without it now?

2Blade

Same reason I use one is because I suffer from target panic. The clicker is a great tool once you get use to it. For me it took a year before I felt comfortable and confident with the clicker its really made shooting fun. I went from not being able to anchor (short draw) to draw hold for as long as I need to then push/pull in to the click. Once I hear the click the arrow is in the target. Like so many have told me on here make a commitment to yourself to NEVER release an arrow until you hear the click.

oh sounds like I need to try one for myself! thanks guys!

Yep, like 2Blade said.....give it a try and you will be a believer! Just don't expect everything to be perfect your first time out with it.

Even after shooting them for many years, when I get a new bow it may take me a couple weeks to get the clicker adjusted just perfect for me.

Old York

deadpool, at least give it an honest try!

I find it breaks the last part
of the shot sequence into
two discrete steps, which
for some reason helps me tone
down the T.P.

I "aim" with my eyes,  then  I
loose on the click. Eyes are
doing one thing, ears another.
I simply cannot aim and release
at the same time. Sort of divies
up the work load, doesn't take
much to overload my fuddled,
wimpy pea brain.

Good luck with your shooting

Clickers were sent to us by GOD himself other wise I wouldn't be able to shooting at all.

With mine I draw move onto target try to hold as still as I can while I aim it clicks its on the way. I think what makes it work for me is I do my shot in steps or it breaks it up. purty much what Old York said.

bshunter

they work!!! do a search here on set up and start enjoying yourself. Best tip I read here, PULL THROUGH the click EVERY TIME******
