help with draw lenght

hi every one i no about ankering my drawing arm but how do you control the bow arm. do you have it straight out or with a bent arm & how do you keep the same bend all the time. i do shoot a lot better with a bent arm but it is hard to keep the sme from shoot to shoot. thank & have a great day.
