I am wondering which video on the market is the best for shooting using the point as a reference? Now I shoot 3 fingers under and use the arrow point for a reference.  I am very happy with the consistency I get doing this I just would like a good DVD too give any little tricks for improvement.  Does masters of the barebow go into a very detailed system?

Masters of the barebow (vol 1&2) go into several systems including gap shooting, facewalking,  stringwalking, and pure instinctive. Personally I am looking forward to volume 3 which I have heard is coming soon.

I have M of the BB vol. 1 and it's really good. Would like to have vol. 2 very soon. I learned a lot about gap shooting/point ref. through Byron Ferguson's book "Become the Arrow". He also has a video with the same title. I haven't seen it but I'll bet it would be good too.

I agree with the recommendations for Masters of the Barebow, just wish they went into a little more depth with some of the methods.

What flycaster said, don't waste your money on Ferguson's DVD/Tape, the book is good though.
The broadhead used, regardless of how sharp, is nowhere as important as being able to place it in the correct spot.

MOTBB 1 has rod jenkins, 3 under, MOTBB 2 has larry yien, split finger, both gapping.  rick welch's dvd is 3 under, instinctive, get volume 2, it covers the complete shooting method, and includes alot of hunting.  dead on traditional is also great, using a combination og instinctive and gap, 3 under.

I think "hitting them like howard hill", the DVD from Bob Wesley, and instictive shooting with Fred Asbell are about the best out there.  Terry does a good job on the tradgang dvd of telling it a little.  Thinking of trying to put one together, but lack the accreditation to do it.
