Video Editing Hunt Film

I will be going to Africa in Aug of this year bow hunting the plains animals and planning on taking lots of video.  
Does anyone know where I can get the memory from the SD cards made into a nice video?  Would be fun to have some African music added as well.  The outfitter from Namibia is going to take the wife and I to some of the national parks for a few days to see the country before the 8 day hunt begins.  How many SD cards do you think I should take and how much memory on them.  Also going to take lots of photos with my 35 mm camera.

Are you unable to do it yourself? Your computer might already have windows live movie maker that you can use to edit your videos. Get 32 or 64 GB cards for your digital cam. 2 64 GB cards should serve you well.

Thank you.  I will take several SD cards of at least 64 GB.  Also going to take some flash drives to down load onto if the cards get full.  Guess the outfitter has a computer that he can do that on.

I know nothing about editing video and adding photos plus music to make a DVD.  That is why I was looking for help.

2 64 GB cards will be more than enough- even if you are shooting in HD.  
Getting someone to edit a personal video is tricky because they will have no idea what you want in a production.  I would think that it would be pricey too.  

Here's a thought to consider... pay someone from a local college or high school to teach you to do it with windows movie maker.  It will be WAY cheaper and you will have the skill going forward.  Learning windows movie maker is a snap and making decent movies can be learned in a day.

Thanks Randy - when we return from our trip, I may get ahold of you for this project.  As you know us oldtimers just don't know how all this computer and fancy cameras work.

Thanks Jerry - I have never heard of Windows Movie Maker program.  I will do some checking with the computer generation kids. ha
