A couple of weeks ago I missed a big one. Yesterday went back to that spot but set up about a hundred yards of where I was before. Was doing some rodent screams when I see him coming in. He had two others right behind him. But one of the other two was snow white.
They get to fifty yards and stop ,just staring in my direction. The big guy comes closer and the white one is right there with him. They get to 35 yards and freeze. They just stood there looking at my dancing rat. I draw back and my arrow slips off the bow. I was too nervous to shoot. That thing had light purple eyes that was scary.
I took some time off of hunting these crazy things and I can tell I'm out of it . Will be back out there in a few days.
You can hop but you can't hide.
If it was not for rabbits I would never get a buck.

Maybe I'm missing something here. Sounds really interesting, but what is the white one? Coyote?

Man I missed a solid black one in SC a few years back...white chevron on his chest. I still lose sleep over that one  :)

You will notice Thumper Dunker Kills a lot of coyotes. Not many deer in his neck of the woods.

So yes, Coyote.

Good Luck Thumper, if anyone will get that one it will be you.
Relax,

Anybody who has followed Tim's (Thumper) threads knows the man is a menace to yote's!

For most of us to get a shot at one is an accomplishment, to actually hit and take one one is pure prideful bliss   :D

To be like Tim you have to have taken a half dozen or more each year!
