I posted in the Classifieds but I know they're not accessible to everyone. I'm looking for help in tracking down some youth equipment.

I host groups of kids at my hunting camp throughout the year and archery is a big part of the weekend. I just learned that the equipment I've been borrowing is no longer available (he sold it, and didn't think to ask if I wanted to buy it!), so I need to buy some gear.

Kids range in age from 5-16, so I would need bows, arrows, and arm guards to fit all. I think 4-5 different bows would cover it.

Any ideas on best place to get quality gear without breaking the bank? Ideally, I'd like to keep it under $500...

The Bear Crusader is a good one. They are tough and can take being dropped and mistreated and will suit the ages you mention. For the smaller tikes the Wizard will work.

Make sure to get feather fletched arrows for them. Cajun Archery or Rose City for inexpensive arrows might be a good place to check.

Not sure if you have targets, but, the foam blocks from Tractor Supply used in trailer shipment work well for kids. 9 blocks make a roughly 4'x4' target.

They might give the blocks to you if you have a TSC near you.

Shrink wrap holds them together.

let me know how what you need for arm guards and tabs, will get some made for the kids.

Might check out some of the older bows.  Some of the lower end ones will go in the $40-$75 range and are usually 20-35#.  Do you need any left handed bows?
