Just a reminder, and I think the other sponsers here will agree.

Bow season isn't that far off--NOW is the time to be thinking about getting your hunting gear together--especially the gear that dealers don't have sitting on the shelf or may run low on because lots of other folks waited too.

From my standpoint, I'm talking about strings.  Every year, without fail, I get a lot of "I need it yesterday" orders.

I'm as bad as the next guy--put it off, put it off, next thing you know it's here and you don't have those few things for that big hunt coming up.

Remember that most of us that have an archery business are hunters too--our job is to keep you happy, but we like to spend a few days in the woods ourselves, so.............

Do an inventory.  Go ahead and get those items on order so you won't be sweating it out hoping they arrive on time, and we won't be sweating it out trying to get orders filled before we can get in the woods too.

The small stuff usually gets me--need a few more broadheads, a sharpener, arrows or arrow building supplies, a new glove or tab, a new string........ etc.

I envy the folks that are ready for October 1st by July 1st--but I'm trying to become more like them!

Great reminders Chad - I could'nt agree more.

arrows and broadheads are a big one for me, seems like never have enough time at the end to get some all prepared.

That right there is great advise.  I think when I get home tonight I will take some inventory and see if there is anything I am going to need.  Thanks for the reminder Chad.

I hunt something year around so I am always needing something  :bigsmyl:  , but I do just what Chad suggests some time in January.  Then I get my major supplies at the Michigan Traditional Show in Kazoo the end of January and the final supplies at the Compton shoot.

Matter of fact last year I told my wife and kids that they did not have to buy Christmas prsents anymore, however if you still feel like you have to get me something just give me a card with the amount of money in it that you where going to spend on my present and I will use it to buy archery stuff at the Trad Show in January.  They all thought it was a good idea.  This year I bought a brand new Super Shrew Classic Hunter, Merry Christmas to me  :D  .
