I just saw an add for this sharpener in the Arrow Trade magazine I get and thought I'd probably let you guys know about it.

It's an awesome bh sharpener...wait till June when they come out with the knife sharpener...both are the most thought out sharpening system going...keep an eye out.

Maybe this should go as a product review, but heck, I'm a bow buildernot a computer guy.

I got myself one of these KME Broadhead Sharpeners and I'm here to tell you, if you use a two blade broadhead...This thing is a must!

I took the dullest most bent up (from the MFR) that I had and put it into the KME Broadhead Sharpener and started with 220 grit wet paper and in about 50 strokes the edge was profiled. I then changed paper to 400 grit, 600 grit, then jumped to 1500 grit and finished with 2000 grit. And now she's scary sharp!

donw

the best b'head sharpener i've ever owned.
i was told by a sales person, when purchasing an out-of-date newpaper that it was out-of-date...

i told her "i've been told i'm out-of-date, too"...

does that mean i'm up-to-date?

canadian

Will it work on Simmons heads?

Canadian... it probably won't work on the Simmons.  Maybe if you had a half round stone. The curved blade of the Simmons would give you a problem on a flat stone.

I agree with all above, I picked one up at the Whittingham shoot and it works great.  I got the combination stone and fine stone with it.  First I sharpened an Eclipse.  I got it sharper then I could with a file in less time.  Then I tried it on a grizzly and got the whole blade sharper then I ever could with a file and with less labor.
