Anyone have knowledge about the brace height.
Ive read 6 1/4 to 6 1/2 off the furthest point of the shelf.

McDave

Normally, brace height is measured from the string to the valley of the grip.  I haven't heard of any recommended brace heights lower than 7" for a recurve, but if you're measuring 6 1/2" from the string to the shelf, it could well be 7" or more to the valley of the grip.

In any event, you are likely to get more responses to equipment questions on the PowWow forum, as the shooter's form forum is devoted to shooting issues.

Its been a few years, but 560's were pretty much all I ever shot.  I believe I was around 6 7/8 measured from the deepest part of the grip to the string..
