Antler growth in many locales is sufficient enough to possibly identify a target buck. Often times, my personal target buck may not even be identified until the 1st week of November.

Fortunately, for this season, I already have identified two target bucks and setups are ready. Hopefully, there will be more to add to the list. Attached is a pic of one of the target bucks:

Please post pics of your identified target bucks?

Scott, you got any other pics of him? He looks like he's about 3-4 years old to me in that pic.

These bucks are approximately 60 yards from a setup that I had decoyed in 27 bucks over the past three seasons. The deer have already demolished the one-acre soybean food plot. This soybean food plot was productive last season thru mid-December...Still early enough for a plan B.

That one has a little more mature look to him.
I can afford to shoot most any bow I like.  And I like Primal Tech bows.

I don't target anything specific. Our deer wander too much. I usually hold out for one of the top five. Some in that category don't show up till end of October.

I just set out some cameras last week. One landowner has seen the best one from last year already. He was upper 160's.
It's really simple. Just don't take those borderline shots. Tomorrow is another day.
