I put camo tape on a old sky longbow about 10 years ago.
I've pulled all the tape off and of course there is a dry rough tape residue left there similar to sand paper.  How can I get that off?  Acetone or lacquer thinner?
Thanks

I'd try something less harsh first.  Perhaps denatured alcohol.  Don't know what's in Goo Off, but it, too, might work.

Goo Gone will definitely remove the tape remnants, but it will likely leave an oily (and very citrusy) residue that may soak in.

Alcohol did the trick.
Thank you both
