Not seeing a specific message board where I should post questions about arrow building and supplies, so I'll ask here.

Needing feathers, looking around the internet I see lots of large quantity packs for reasonable prices, but would prefer buying from US based suppliers. Who has reasonable prices on feathers?

Needing to fletch a dozen arrows, and dont want to buy a 50pk or multiple 25pks.

Have been away from this for a number of years, just getting back into it.

You'll need 36 feathers to fletch a dozen arrows  same color.  If you want a cock feather of a different color, you'll need a dozen of those also.  Check the big auction site.  Plenty of US sellers

Lots of places offer the Trueflight Combo Pack which comes with 18 feathers to do 6 arrows in 3 fletch with a contrasting cock feather. That way you can buy the exact amount you need, if that's what you are after.  I would get them from The Footed Shaft.

But for me, I just buy a 100 pack at a time from Sagittarius Archery Supplies. Great feathers and they are half the price of other places. $30 per 100 in 5 inch solids!

Thanks, just ordered some from them, their prices are great and the combo packs are what I was looking for. I dont shoot a ton and have only 1 bow, so wasn't really looking to get bulk materials.
