Been stalkin the mailman, he arrived today with one of those skinny boxes we all know and love.
Time to get my build started. Of course I wanna dive in right this minute but too much domestic errands to do todayTheses birdseye veneers from Kenny are beauties! .

Riser will be similar to this, walnut in the center, birdseye flares. Walnut tip overlays and maybe handle overlay.  It will either turn out really sweet, or be the best lookin kindling for the woodstove. Plan to build riser tomorrow. Wish me luck.

This is just me and I have no empirical evidence to back it up, but I would avoid the walnut for the tip overlays and go with something tougher.
