I have a Big Jim's side quiver, and the foam is shot on it. I was going to replace it with foam, but it didn't last long at all the first time.

I came up with this wood solution. Would you guys put a thin piece of foam on top for sound and looks?

I do something similar with the Side Stalker style quivers I make. I use a piece of 1x pine(3/4") and taper the edges then glue on the foam for broadheads. The tapered "plug" fits tight in the bottom, sliding in from the inside.
