I've been a tree stand fan since I started bowhunting whitetail deer at 16 years old in 1970.  I hunt from pop-ups for turkey. I don't much like ground blinds because of such restricted vision (peeking out of windows).  Two days ago I saw the new Primos Surround 360 set up at my Lexington Cabelas.

Wow!  I could not believe the sense of freedom inside that blind.  I even asked a clerk to step inside so I could check effectiveness.  I ordered a 270 yesterday (one of 4 sides is blacked out).  I also am pleased how solidly this thing seems put together. I'll be doing a little blind hunting from this thing this year. My Club XXLs may be in some trouble!

I'm interested in your review of this blind after field use. I don't like the cooped up feeling either. I believe I miss seeing a lot of animals because the lack of visibility but they are definitely an excellent tool, especially for turkey!

Another thing one misses with limited visibility is scouting input.  Sometimes from a tree stand I'll notice certain movements that cause me to change stands. When I'm enclosed in a blind I don't see that much.

Interested in checking this out. I get the same feeling in mine, not being aware of all my surroundings. Thanks for the heads up. I will check these out.
