I recently returned from a trip to the Hudson River Valley in NY; home of Rip Van Winkle, the Legend of Sleepy Hollow and one of the premier bowyers of the past: Fran San Marco.  Frank along with the likes of John Schulz and Tom Cole, were regular vendors at the Pa. Bowhunters Festival in Sullivan Co. Pa.  John used to come about every other year putting on seminars and shooting demonstrations.  It was there my wife and I picked up my much awaited 'Earth Spirit' longbow from Frank.  I still have it as my wife would never let me sell it.
Anyway, I met up with Frank and his 81 year old neighbor Fred this past tuesday and enjoyed a very entertaining BS session.  It's always nice when everyone is on the same page and knows who or what the other is talking about.  With a background in science and engineering, Frank truly has a handle on; FOC, heavy arrows, and single bevel broadheads.  Since this is getting a little too long, I'll get to the good part.  Frank once again is crafting a limited run of longbows, this time it's a 66" hybrid called the Eagle.  Blacky Schwartz has Frank's performance levels right up there with todays  bows.  I'm not qualified to explain the data, but Frank will have a booth set up at ETAR in Denton Hill next month.  He is excited about this bow and would appreciate it if you would stop by to talk with him and try out the new 'Eagle'.
Thanks for listening.

An outstanding craftsman, great to have Frank back in the bowyer family.

Shick,  That is awesome!  Exciting news that Frank will be back on the scene.  I would love to chat with him.
