Each year on PA we have a Christmas Trade. It doesn't have to be archery related but it does have to be hand made(bows, arrows, homemade jelly, etc.) or it can be raw materials(staves, shafting, knappable rock, etc.). I made this quiver and arm guard for my recipient. The knife was made by a friend from an old file and I added the deer antler scales. It will be going in the mail soon...

The plug in the end of the quiver is tapered fit wood with foam added to accept the broadhead. It can be removed for cleaning out the quiver or to replace the foam...

Beautiful work! I do leather work as well, though it has been a few years. Top notch work you did there!

Nice, should make the receiver very happy.   :)

Thanks guys. I've been doing leather work since the early 1970s and really enjoy it. I only do small projects like this now and love every minute of it.

Great work !
Stitched by hand? or do you have a thread injector?

Thanks guys.
Goobersan, it is all hand stitching. I punched all the stitching holes then used a saddle stitch(long thread with a needle on each end. Both needles go through the same hole but in opposite directions). to stitch it together. This is the type of leather work I learned back in the early 1970s.  The quiver and arm guard are also lined with pig skin.
