One of my friends has one of those Black Widows from the 1980s with an Aluminum Riser..I think he said its a 1225? It has a broken limb, he asked me if I could build a set of limbs for it. I just might be able to build a set on one of my existing forms..He is going to hand me the bow later this week. Anybody ever build a set of limbs for that model of Black Widow? BW quit making limbs for this bow many years ago..I would like to bring this bow back to life again if I can.

If you have one good limb you could obviously use it as a template for a new form, but if you have a similar limb shape it's probably fine.

Never shot one of them but always liked the 80s futuristic look. Very interested to see what you come up with

I'm gonna make a set of limbs off of my form if I can..I don't want to build a form for one set of limbs. He has several newer BWs to shoot. I do think I have a form that will work. There are a lot of those 1225 risers that need a set of limbs.I may have to buy a riser for myself if I am successful with the first set of limbs. The 1225 Kinda looks like a bow a Klingon from "Star Trek" would shoot..

Post some pictures of the bow and your process when you get a chance. I've never really seen one of those bows.

Hmmmmm. I know you think you understand what you thought I said, but I'm
not sure that what you heard is what I actually meant!
