Saw this mentioned on the swap form and it made me wonder. has anyone accidentally glued a bow to something?
it made me wonder because about a month ago I was working on a bow, I had a void in a glue line in the riser about 3/16 long, I laid it on my workbench and began to work CA into it, after what seemed to be way to much glue I took a break, and the though hit me " I hope I am not gluing my bow to my bench. I pulled gave it a nudge and sure enough the glue was running straight through and was starting to set up. a little clean up and a piece of tape and all was good.
just wondering if I am the only one.   :campfire:
Ps 8:3 ¶ When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained;
4 What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?

I wound up glueing my second all wood tri-lam to the form.  There was a small hole in the plastic wrap that I didn't notice.  So I figured I'd just pry it off with a long screwdriver.  Sure enough; cracked the belly lam.    :banghead:   Live and learn.    :rolleyes:
It's hard to make a wooden bow which isn't beautiful, even if it's ugly.

I've glued stuff to a bow. My pieces of padding during glue-up for example!
