lower limb wood split help???

Hi guys I've got an old Bear bow that when i went to string it the lower limb seperated between the wood layers the glass front and back is still stuck ok ... can i glue the layers back together ok and what should i use ??? cant post pics right now ... (at work) any help is appreciated   Thanks Jamie
