What do you guys think is the best and easiest bow wood to work with?
Chris

George Tsoukalas

For me, it was black locust when I first started. It grows in my backyard and I needed lots of learning wood. So my answer is whatever wood you have access to. Osage, black locust and hickory are fine woods. The list is long and I can go on and on. What do you have near you? Do you want to but? Board bows are a possibility too. Red oak works well. My site has info. Jawge
