lemon wood

My neighbor just gave me two limbs off of he's lemon tree. I would like to use them for bow handles and maybe some laminations or a self bow.  What would be the best way to dry them?

lemon tree wood is not  the same as "lemonwood".

The lemonwood used in the "old days" was a tropical hardwood, known as degame,  out of Cuba/ south america.

So with that in mind, I'm not sure how to treat/cure/season lemon trees.

I'd handle it like any whitewood. Seal the ends and split them in half to dry.
 Like Shamus said it is not the same as lomonwood(degame).

Well this is just wood off an old lemon tree. Not degame. I think I'll dry like Pat B says and see what I can do with it.  Thanks  shamus.
