Redbud???

I have a redbud that the wind took the top out of.  Has anyone made a bow from this wood?  Just curious before I start.

I haven't but have a few staves of redbud. I have seen bows made with it.   I think I would build it like with any whitewood.
Make the most of all that comes and the least of all that goes!
