My first attempt delamed. I think because of oily wood. This one turned out better than expected. It's 66"/ 58lbs @ 28". Shoots fine, but the hand shock's a bit harsh.

That's a great looking bow!  Good choice of colors in that one.
I didn't claw my way to the top of the food chain to eat vegetables!

In the beginner's mind there are many possibilities. In the expert's there are few...So the most difficult thing is always to keep your beginner's mind...This is also the real secret of the arts: always be a beginner.  Shunryu Suzuki

I guess if we run into the bear that is making these tracks, we oughta just get off the trail.......He seems to like it!

Thanks for the complements. It was a little stressful at times, but well worth it.

It's about 58lbs @ 28". What weight arrow should I be shooting minimum?

The most frightening thing you are likely to encounter in nature is yourself.

The riser is gray core flex and the limbs are made of hickory on the outside with a padauk core. Not sure if Padouk is the best core wood, but it looks nice against the hickory. I died the hickory in an attempt to match the riser. It looked good before I glued it up, but turned out to have yellow tinge to it. I'm happy with it though.

I concaved the the riser on the oposite side of the shelf to show some more of the dark glue joints on the core flex. It looks good and you can't feel it with your fingers while shooting unless you're really gripping it.

Nice looking bow.  Those sheep aren't bad looking either.
