What material can I get from a hardware store for tip overlays. What kind of glue is best for this.

Wrappkid try the slaughter house and ask for some cow horn. I also use bison horn, elk and deer antler and different hardwoods. I have been using the Super T super glue and have yet to have one come loose. Good Luck.

I have a moose shed that I found in Canada on a moose hunt.Wonder if that would work.

Moose would definetely work.  You can also use your smooth on as well..or some other epoxy to glue them on.  If you use smooth on and want to return those limbs to the oven, use lower watt bulbs...or just place the tips next to a hanging light...'

What you dont want to do it reheat the entire limb up to your original baking temp...as that epoxy will break down at high heat temps

I have always wanted to try pig hooves from the pet section....
