Need some help

Yesterday my  grandfather had his mail car catch on fire. Well, his hunting knife he was given from his father ended up burning in the car and my grandmother is looking to have it refurbished for him. I'm told he was about 16 when it was given to him so it has a lot of sentimental value. Any one local to Chattanooga TN that could take up a project? I believe bone or stag handle and if anything is wrong with the blade he will just put it up on the mantle.
