I'm on another one of my rolls...

No, not an optical illusion. Twin ground blades. Only difference in them is the pattern in the pitting on the steel and the grain in the walnut.

These were fun to make, and keep indentical.

Both are sporting a Scandi grind, L6 steel, 1/8" copper pins, walnut scales, with a 5" overall length.

I left the steel pitted for more of a rustic look, if you will.

Its LATE, so they both just got a light coat of tung oil to show them off. I will further refine the scales in the morning and get a better shine to them, and a better picture.

But for now, here's what I have..

Nice looking!  I like that pattern too!  Are those stock removal?

Those look good I like the rustic look. Maybe you should try the "Lighting Fast" Kid or something along those lines. lol!
