Just got back from a hunting trip and found this (my)knife from Ray.  It is truly a work of art.  I specified a knife for use.  I don't own knives that are just for show.  This knife from Ray has it all - looks as well as balance and proper proportions.  Even on moose I never use a blade any longer than 3.5"-4".  This one feels great in the hand and balances nicely.  I can't wait to get it bloody.

The damascus pattern is very complex and quite beautiful too.

Ray's use of this old, old, old walrus ivory is perfect.   What a combination!  I'm very happy to say the least.

Thanks, guys. John, it was truly a pleasure to build that knife.

I hope I get the chance to make more like it in the future.
