Andrew has some fluid build up around his pacemaker and has been re-admitted to the hospital. The doctors have put him on medication via IV to disipate the fluid build up and if this doesn't work, they will do surgery tomorrow to drain the fluid. Thanks! Mike

Gotta be scary, but them li'l ones are tough as rawhide!

Lord takes special care of the wee ones. Prayers for the medication to work well and if drainage is needed, that goes super and whatever caused the build-up, is isolated and resolved so it doesn't happen again.

Lord in your mercy...hear our prayers for li'l Andrew!

But his bow will remain steady, and his hands will be skillful; because of the hands of the Mighty One of Jacob, because of the Shepherd, the Rock of Israel,  (Genesis 49:24 [NETfree])

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside thoroughly used up, totally worn out, with bible in hand and loudly proclaim...WOW...What a Ride!!!

With the heavy rains here on Friday, we rained out at work so we got an early start for TN to visit with the grandson for the weekend. On the drive down our son called and told us that Andrew had been released from the hospital and they were on their way home! We got to their house right after he woke up from his nap and enjoyed spending the weekend with him. The swelling around the pacemaker was a combination of water and blood. The blood WAS/IS not an issue. The doctors didn't expect the blood because there was no bruising visible. The medication that they were using to disipate the water/swelling wasn't working because of the blood mixed with it. If there had been visible bruising, they would have known what they were dealing with, but Andrew apparently doesn't bruise easily!! The doctors are still monitoring the swelling, but the pacemaker is functioning as it should and he is feeling fine and has a great appetite and alot of energy. I think all of this is harder on the parents and grandparents than it is on Andrew! Thanks to all and God Bless! Mike

Like I said, them wee ones are tough as rawhide!

God makes em stoudt to take what the world dishes out...too bad we loose some of that resiliency as we age!  :)

Praises to God for the good news! Thank you, Jesus!

Good to hear that things are progressing nicely with his recoup and the pacemaker.

Give the li'l buggar a hug from us ole trandgangers!
