Hey im wanting a greenstripe B riser and I found these pics. I like the one on the right. Can yall tell me about it? Any history, I know Bear made these in the 80's? I think. Are these risers different years? Thanks for any help!

Do a search at the History and Collecting Forum on the Green Stripe B Riser and you will find all the information your looking for. Lots of Good Stuff!!

Horney Toad

The futurewood has different grain patterns and slightly different colors as well as finishes. I've seen some with great glossy finishes and some with dull finishes. Your best bet is buy the first greenstripe you find, and then look for a nicer one. They are getting harder to find and pricey too.

cacciatore

Sorry, but that one is the less appealing of the lot, later model, the first 2 are the ones that are more interesting, first years of production Futurwood riser, versus laminated birch.IMHO
