Looks like they were cleaning up the shop after making the Dogleg Grizzlys and made this baby!

I don't know why but I really like the Little Bears probably because each one is somewhat unique.

I put 1964/1965 because the Little Bears didn't show up in the Catalogs until 1965 but this one has a serial number that would normally indicate 1964. I have seen one or two others with similiar serial numbers including the one in the 1965 Catalog.

I seen a gray glass brazilian rosewood riser with black painted pewter coin aka would have had to have been from around 1962-ish at a yard sale.I gave the guy 100 bucks for it many years ago. While I was talking with Al Reader one day on the phone.I told him about the little bear with the rosewood riser and pewter coin I had.He offerd me 250 no questions asked.....I shipped it out the next day and ai'nt seen it since. That was one little gem I wish I would have held on to bd

Doc, Wow, that sounds like a cool bow. I hope it resurfaces someday. Would love to see it!

Nick, very cool and sure looks like dogleg scrap. That bow would look real nice in my Little Bear collection. You still have my address?   :jumper:
