Looking for any info on a Bear longbow I recently acquired. Only writing on it is P-12372 53#.. leather grip, and it's a lefty. I have a couple pics I can email. Any info would be appreciated.
Thanks, Jr.

Jack, it looks similar to the 50's model. I'm not a collector...one of my budd's that buys collectible's knew I was into Trad bow's picked it up thinking I might be interested. I bought it, just because it was a Bear, and very cool.  Thanks, for the info,
Jr.

Jack, I looked a little more....now I'm thinking it looks more like a 53 model. I'm not sure yet, but the link you provided is very helpful! Thanks, Jr.

Although I have a few Polars I don't really collect that Bear model. If you want to send some pictures I can try and help with the year.

Guss,
I do have a liking for the Polars
Currently I have 3,(2-54s, & a 56), I would enjoy seeing the pics of yours if you would send them to me.
Take care

Jack and Bruce, I'm gonna pick up the bow today, I'll send you a few pics. The guy also has an older recurve that we'd like to identify, I'll send a few pics of it also. Thanks, Jr.

Guss

Jack, I sent you a few pics of the recurve. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks, Jr.

Jr,

I wondered where those pictures came from until I read your post. Not sure myself but maybe someone else can identify it from the photos you sent.
