Was the "through the leather grip" insert for side mount quivers available for all the last of the models with leather grips or did it end previous to Bear no longer having leather grips?

Dont seem to notice any of the very last of the later leather grip models having such.....or just few of them?

Thanks

The leather top 4 arrow quiver with the single bolt ended in 1971. However the newer quivers still used a lower bolt mount that could screw into the stabilizer hole with an adapter or an insert in the riser on the side below the grip. I believe that right from the start in the early 50s the quiver insert was an option, not standard equipped. On the dual self bows the buyer had to request RH or LH quiver mount.

Wow. I didnt realize they were still around so late in production.

yes Bear still uses the same location for the insert but they did change insert bushings in the mid 80's.They went with the real cheap flush mounted really easy to install bushings.Prior to that the bushings were inset just a bit into the riser so when the screw was installed with no quiver on the bow.The mounting screw was flush with the wood surface bd
