Well lets see, they only made these bows 3 yrs. Read somewhere that they had a bad experience with the alumnium coming apart, so I will prob not ever string this puppy but will hang it on the wall with all my other collectibles.

The time frame the bows were actually made was really no more than 12 mos-but spanned 2 model years. That includes the Grizzly, Kodiak and Polar.
It was not delamination, although there may have been some of that too, it was metal fatigue that killed it. Aluminum was used in skis too with same results-aluminum fatigues quickly.
The bows will take a 'set' after a while and never recover. If your bow is dead straight it has been only shot a few times. If it looks like an older self bow-it has been shot a lot. Shooting the bow can be quite exciting-for me it was anyway. One of my aluminum lam bows is a 53# Grizzly which was fun to shoot; but it got retired after about 100 arrows as it started to take on a little bend in the limbs.

I had a guy drop over a couple of weeks ago & wanted me to sell one.Grizz wood lam over the aluminum. He wants 125.00 Is that a good price.

If its in good shape that seems like a fair price from what i've seen.

Sounds like a fair price. saw one go for over $500 the other day on the big auction site, never could figure out what was so special about that one bow, the one I have cost under $100 and has all the stickers, go figure  :)
