i have only been shooting for a short time now, and if i think about my anchor point or anything other than where i want to hit then i miss, badly. for me i found if just "launch" an arrow at what i want to hit, i hit it. dont know why. i tried the whoe blind bale thingy today, it totally screwed me up. i guess i was overthinking it. said the heck with and just tossed some arrows in the bullseye. not sure how.

silvertip73

Middle finger in corner of mouth, thumb in back of jaw.

I used my eyetooth and middle finger for about 48 years.  I didn't find out until last year that I never got to alignment that way.  Now I put my index finger in the depression where my back jaw teeth meet, with my web around the back of my jaw bone with the thumb tight against and under my jaw.

sawtoothscream

my pointer finger touching the back of my cheek bone. i have tried a few different spots and this one so far is the best for me

LONGSTYKES

Thumb under jaw, with middle finger in the corner of my mouth. Same as silvertip73. Concentrate on my form , release and target. It works.

Same a LONGSTYKES and silvertip73,except, I shoot 3 under with index finger in corner on my mouth, and thumb knuckle tucked under jaw.  Just feels right to me.
