I ordered the Clickety Clicker and notice some mount it either top or lower, and some mount it close to the top of the limb to shorten the rope. I seem to remember that they recommend that you mount it on the non working part of the limb. Seeing that I intend to mount it on a couple of BW PSR's, their limbs have a large working area. What do you guys recommend.

Thanks in advance.

Mine a few years back came with an adjustable "dog tag" style chain.....after shooting for a couple days I noticed the "slap from the chain was putting small short scratches in the limb...I would recommend putting tape or something over the chain. Thats just my two cents  :)

I replace the chain with the cord from a louvered blind. Its about the right stiffness and doesnt hurt the bow finsh. You can mount it anywhere. I tend to favor the top limb just a bit down from the tip. That way I can use a shorter cord and direct the top limb thru any brush while hunting. I tried on the riser and the cord was to long for me while hunting.
BTW if you fish a real heavey mono works well as a replacement chord too.
